Leg_Cramp.jpgI am sure at some time or another you have experienced some sort of leg cramping. Athletes tend to be those that we focus most on when it comes to cramping, but anyone walking outside for long periods without proper hydration is susceptible to cramping.  For most people, the leg cramp often occurs when the muscle has been flexed for long periods or during occasional exercise.  Most cramps result from a lack of sodium that disrupts our muscle cells.  Most cramps generally only last for a few minutes and will stop once the chemical imbalances have been restored.  If a cramp lasts for more than one hour, you should see a doctor.
